A very fine pair of Chinese silver boxes with embossed dragons and flowers. They must have been given to a couple. The first shows two dragons: one running along the side, the other sliding through the lid and re-appearing on the side. The lady’s shows paeony flowers. I cannot identify the maker. Both boxes are stamped in the same way: 85 and Chinese characters. Fine condition: crisp design with no damage, no sign of wear, no repair. Size: 6 cm x 7.7 cm x 5.4 cm. The item “1900s.
