Description: – This a superb Chinese solid silver box in good condition. T he box has a embossed 4 claw dragon to the lid, and another two to the side. To the reverse the box is stamped’ WH’ for Wang Hing. 90 for 90% silver (Standard Chinese silver % for quality items), and the Chinese signature of the maker. Date: – Circa 1900. Period: – Late 19th – Early 20th Century. Maker: – WH – Wang Hing & Co. Measurement: – The silver box measures 9.0 cm (diameter) x 5.9 cm (height). Weight: – 176.4 grams / 5.68 troy ounces. Item No: – 273. Condition: – The box is in good antique condition. Surface wear, scratches, and rubbing commensurate with age. No dings, splits, or repairs.
