Offered for your consideration is this most beautiful silver box, round shape, in a beautiful repousse Chrysanthemum pattern. The box is 3 1/2 inches wide and just a little over 2 inches tall.. Weighs 4.3 try ounces. The gold wash inside the box is intact. It was made by renowned Chinese silver maker Kwan Wo (active 1880 – 1920). Very good condition showing no problems. Since there is no silver mark, I have tested with nitric acid to be sure. The test showing positive for 925 sterling grade, although it is known that most Chinese export silver is 900. My testing method will not be able to tell 900, 925 or 950 apart. The box is monogrammed with P. No dents no dings just a beautiful piece of history. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
