This is a small cylindrical metal box, perhaps a pill box. 1 1/4″, diameter 3/4″. Base metal is probably silver but there is no hallmark. Chinese mark on base. Sides and lid are richly decorated with good quality cloisonne type pictures of birds and animals. Decorative pattern embossed on rims and edges. Condition is good but there is some soiling on the inside, and the base surface is finely scratched with wear.
