It is stamped on the base with full Chinese hallmarks including makers mark. Looks to date to the early 20th Century could be possibly slightly older. The silver is beautifully embossed with Nepalese or Tibetan figures which have very good detail. The lid of the jar has a stunning floral swirl detail which is not worn and is quite clear. The top of the jar fits nice and tight onto the base and is a good fit. The jar has no dents or heavy scratches and is in good original condition. Measures – 9 cm height x 7.2 cm wide —– Weighs 178.5 grams of solid silver.
